Varsity Girls Field Hockey lost 0-6 to Presentation High School

As my first social media post for El Estoque, this post not only showed my strengths but also areas of improvement. I was able to document real events, showing my willingness to cover both triumphs and setbacks. By using social media, I was able to make school sports coverage more accessible and relevant to my community.

MVHS students meet for their annual Homecoming Rally

For my second time doing a social media post, covering the MVHS Homecoming rally differently felt like tossing me into the deep end. Once I had taken the pictures, my co-writer and I had to get the social media post up and simultaneously write the online story with only a few hours to edit. This put me under a lot of pressure, but in the end my co-writer and I managed to get the post and article up on time. Ever since then, I've learned that no matter how much stress or pressure someone is under, success is easily in reach.
